9. 1950 Ford Prefect 

Let’s start with something that struck a chord with Big B’s heart. The Ford Prefect was the first family car in the Bachchan household. However, it did not stay there and was sold. Anyways, several decades later, in 2020, he was gifted a yellow 1950s Ford Prefect in fully restored condition by none other than his friend and the executive director of The Indian Express.

Big B was short of words but shared his happiness on social media, stating, “Have been struggling to put this moment in words or even to express my thanks to him and his family. “ We believe the cars like the UK-made Prefect are perfect for car collectors like Jay Leno. 

8. 2012 Mini Cooper S 

The 2012 Mini Cooper S is the smallest car in Big B’s car collection. As per a few sources, it was gifted to him by none other than his son, Abhishek Bachchan. He was spotted driving this dual-tone red/black car and getting back home. Certainly, a smart yet sleek choice considering the tight urban conditions for daily commute. 

7. 2016 Range Rover SDV8 Autobiography LWB

One of the most preferred cars in the Bachchan family before the arrival of more Range Rovers was the 2016 SDV8 Autobiography. It was primarily used by Amitabh Bachchan to reach the sets of his upcoming movies. He was all smiles while taking delivery of this car. 

During one of the instances, Amitabh Bachchan’s white attire complemented the white shade of this car quite well. The Range Rover Autobiography has its status among celebrities and can be seen in Kourtney Kardashian’s car collection as well. 

6. 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLS 400D 

Finally, the three-point star entry to the list of Amitabh Bachchan’s car collection. The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLS 400D is the preferred choice for Big B’s daughter-in-law and famous actress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and her daughter, Aradhya Bachchan. She was spotted moving around in this silver car to social gatherings and the airport for her international travel trips. 

5. 2020 Mercedes-Benz S350D 

Another Benz in the house. The 2020 Mercedes-Benz S350D was bought by Amitabh Bachchan during the pandemic period. Being a Bollywood megastar and ongoing crisis, he preferred to get his new ride delivered to his house, Jalsa, Juju in Mumbai. In pictures shared on social media, he received the car from the showroom manager himself, and both of them wore masks, following safety guidelines. Big B’s wife and a member of parliament, Jaya Bachchan, and his son Abhishek Bachchan were spotted moving around in this car a few times. 

4. 2024 Land Rover Defender 130 

The latest entrant in Amitabh Bachchan’s car collection is the 2024 Land Rover Defender 130. Well, a hardworking man deserves to pamper himself, and Big B believes in this statement. Big B’s love for cars is not unknown, and he bought the new Sedona Red Defender 130 as a birthday gift to himself in 2024. 

He was spotted flaunting his new ride by being on the back of the wheel himself. Surely, age is just a number for him. 

3. 2018 Lexus LX570 

Lexus’ ultimate flagship for India had to be in Big B’s car collection. The 2018 Lexus LX570 is certainly a statement car, but it is used as a family hauler in the Bachchan household. Amitabh Bachchan even posed with his granddaughter Aradhya and son Abhishek Bachchan alongside his golden SUV during one of the festivals in India. The same was shared on his social media channels as well. 

2. 2023 Range Rover SV Autobiography 

Change is the law of nature, and that goes for Big B’s cars as well. As per reports, his old Range Rover had started to show its age, and hence it was replaced with the latest version of the same car. Even the exterior shade was the same as his previous Rover. Mr. Bachchan prefers to be chauffeured in this car rather than driving it himself, like some of his other cars.

The most recent addition in Big B’s garage is the 2024 BMW i7. On the occasion of his 82nd birthday, the dual-tone Oxide Gray metallic electric car was spotted in the parking bay of his house. We believe the legendary actor gifted this car to himself, and certainly, it’s his step towards a more sustainable future.

• 2006 Porsche Cayman S 

The 2006 Porsche Cayman S was the hidden gem in his garage. He was spotted driving this white Cayman a few times, and during one of the instances, he was accompanied by Junior Bachchan, Abhishek himself. However, this car was sold in 2020 by Awesomest Cars, and it is said that it was driven only 2299 miles. 

• 2007 Rolls-Royce Phantom 

Who can forget a car that was gifted to a legendary actor like Mr.Bachchan? He received a silver 2007 Rolls-Royce Phantom as a token of appreciation from the producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra for completing his film Eklavya with a stellar performance. 

Unfortunately, this piece of excellence was sold to a Mysore-based businessman in 2019. The Phantom has been a favorite of successful personalities like Jay-Z, Dr.Dre, and even the Sultan of Brunei.
